Many people reach a point where they feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, emotions, or past experiences, yet struggle to understand why certain patterns keep repeating in their lives. My role as a psychologist is to help you make sense of those patterns, work through the experiences that may be keeping you stuck and support you in moving towards a healthier and more balanced way of living.
Hello, I’m Deborah. I am a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist from England, and I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly about your experiences and feel genuinely understood.
My work is particularly informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have extensive experience supporting individuals who feel trapped in cycles of anxiety, shame, or addictive behaviors, as well as those working through the impact of past trauma. My focus is on helping clients develop insight into their experiences, process difficult memories safely, and build healthier ways of responding to challenges in their lives.
A central part of my work is ensuring that therapy feels safe, collaborative, and respectful. Many clients tell me that feeling comfortable enough to speak openly is what allows real progress to happen, and I place great importance on creating an environment where you feel able to explore even the most difficult aspects of your experience without fear of judgment.
My approach is informed by a strong academic and professional background in psychology, with postgraduate training in the United Kingdom and ongoing involvement in research published within international journals. Alongside my clinical work, I hold a particular interest in the impact of stigma, labelling, and marginalisation, which continues to shape both my therapeutic approach and broader perspective on psychological care.
I believe that with the right support, understanding, and therapeutic approach, people can begin to make sense of their experiences and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding.
