"We do not just restore function; we empower lives and create possibilities."

I am an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the evaluation and rehabilitation of individuals with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, orthopaedic, neurological, and mental health conditions. My work spans across hospital, long-term care, and home health settings. I specialize in adult and geriatric care, with a strong passion for supporting youth with disabilities as they integrate into educational and community environments.

I am skilled in a wide range of therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring function, reducing disability, and enhancing quality of life for those facing physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges. My approach is centered around empowering individuals to acquire or regain essential skills for meaningful participation in personal, social, and occupational activities.

I have extensive experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with rehabilitation goals. I use functional activities and evidence-based strategies to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, range of motion, sensation, perception, and cognitive function. I am also proficient in prescribing, fabricating, and training individuals in the use of splints, adaptive equipment, and assistive devices, while providing comprehensive education to both patients and caregivers for their safe and effective use.

In addition, I bring expertise in the assessment and management of manual and power wheelchairs and other mobility devices. My evaluation process includes assessing fixed and modifiable deformities, postural needs, amputations, skin integrity, pressure sores, and pain management in the home environment. I ensure the proper fitting of manual wheelchairs and make necessary adjustments to meet patient-specific needs, incorporating positioning devices and accessories to optimize function, safety, and comfort.
