Clinical Dietician

You are what you eat. It’s not a diet it’s a way of life.

As a dedicated member of Dietitians of Canada and a proud graduate from McGill University Montreal Canada, with a degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition, my journey into the world of nutrition has been deeply enriching and rewarding. My internship across various prestigious hospitals and centers in Montreal, including the Montreal Rehab Institute and the Heart and Stroke Foundation, has provided me with a solid foundation in clinical dietetics, particularly in supporting paraplegic patients and those at risk of heart diseases.

Since 2018, I have been embracing the vibrant community in Dubai as a Clinical Dietitian, where I continue to engage actively in community well-being and nutritional education. My involvement with the Parent Association and the Wellbeing Committee at AFLEC School highlights my commitment to promoting healthy eating habits among children and adults alike. My passion for nutrition education led me to present on topics such as healthy lunchboxes, plant-based meats, food and mood, obesity and the gut microbiome at various forums, including the International Growth and Developmental Conference, AWC Symposium, Nourishing the future, and career days and competitions at local schools .

Being a mother has only deepened my dedication to nurturing healthy dietary habits in children, guiding them, one bite at a time, towards a healthier future. My belief in practicing what I preach has been the cornerstone of my career, motivating me to support my patients' nutritional needs and well-being comprehensively. My membership in the Emirates Nutrition Association and the UAE McGill Alumni Chapter further reflects my commitment to my profession and continuous learning.
